So, there I was.
On ‘Day 26’ of the recruiting process and still no end in sight.
26 days of scrolling through as many as 15 different sources and reaching out to 100s of potential candidates.

Reeling from the disappointment, I couldn't help but question if this entire process was a waste of time and resources.
After all, wasn’t this supposed to be easier?
Back at my office, I sat there waiting, yet again, for another 'potential' candidate.
Hoping for the best while inwardly sweating buckets...
And I know I am not the only one.
Hiring someone can be an insanely difficult process.
The dread of going through endless rounds of back-and-forth only to come out with a mediocre candidate.
Or feeling out of touch and impersonal in this new virtual landscape. Not to mention the dozens of technological barriers you have to battle through first.
And then there are the missed appointments, loss of time and resources coupled with quite a few cranky and put-off team members.

Attention to detail test
Our job posts receive hundreds of applicants within the first couple of days. So how do we know the ones that are truly worth interviewing?
We sift through applicants with simple attention to detail tests. You see, we found out that 90% of candidates don't bother to read the entire job description.
